If your company or organisation would like to support The Sleep Walk 2012 in any way, please get in touch, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Big thanks to...

Last year The Sleep Walk brought together the local community of South Devon, from large local firms to small voluntary groups. Every single pair of hands, support or sponsorship was vital to the success of the event. Rowcroft Hospice is humbled by the support it continues to receive.

Rowcroft is indebted to the companies and organisations who pledged their support to The Sleep Walk 2011. Here are just a few of those that offered their support last year....

This local support, stays local!

The Sleep Walk Sponsors...

The makers of the sparkling juice drink supported the event by helping us to cover our costs and helping our walkers to have a fabulous night! A representative said; ‘We were delighted to be supporting both Rowcroft Hospice and the 1800 ladies walked through the night to raise funds for this vital charity. We all know someone who has been touched by the care and support the hospice offers and we’re proud to be part of what  was an unforgettable night.’

The ladies in the team  committed to walking and the gents rolled up their sleeves and spent the night helping out where they were needed. Hannah Simmons from Rowcroft Hospice said; ‘We are thrilled to have the support of WBW. The costs of staging an event of this size were not insignificant but the support of the business community and local groups whether by financial means or a gift in kind, allowed us to keep costs to a minimum.’

Support also given from...

Occombe Farm

Occombe Farm housed the start and finish of The Sleep Walk. The brilliant surroundings added so much to the event and help us all feel like we are embracing the locality of South Devon. Why not pop into the farm shop or the Bakehouse cafe sometime? www.occombe.co.uk/

We think we are the only nightwalk in the world that can claim part of it's route heads through a pre-historic home! We are very thankful to the team at Kents Cavern for throwing open their doors to The Sleep Walk as our half way point, their support has added something very special to the event. www.kents-cavern.co.uk/

Massive thanks to Palm Fm for their ongoing support of Rowcroft Hospice and the Sleep Walk. Palm played a massive part in ensuring South Devon knew all about the first walk, they, like us, are proud to be local! Not only that but the Palm team were there on the night entertaining and supporting our sleep walkers and of course, entered their very own team. Find out more at www.palm.fm.

We are incredibly grateful to TOR2 for their support of the Sleep Walk. They kindly provided 3 vehicles and drivers to help us safely close roads and keep an eye on our sleep walkers. Their help and assistance throughout the planning process was greatly valued.  www.torbay.gov.uk/

The Torbay and South Devon branch of the Radio Amateurs Emergency Network have supported Rowcroft for years and we were really pleased to have their support on The Sleep Walk. The communications team will formed a vital part of the event, ensuring everyone's safety along the route and kept us all in touch! We are really grateful to the large team who volunteered their services not only on the night, but in the run up to the event too! www.raynet-uk.net

A huge thanks to Cafe Alf Resco for agreeing, via the marvellous medium of Twitter, to donate 4000 tea bags that kept our walkers going on the night. The cafe also entered a team. Thanks for the support!
